I’m actually loving the new vibe from SH. It’s rare to see him doing close combats (Fanren style). **I’m in no way comparing the two because Fanren will always be my top, due to their motion capture technology using real martial artists as stuntmen.

It’s just PW has a different combat style and this was dissed by many Chinese fans who prefer some good ol’ fashion wuxia style fighting rather than the CGI-heavy explosive fightings. I personally have no problems with either because PW has a gigantic world view and world-building. Any fighting between top experts can bring down stars, let alone flattening mountains (not joking, that’s how the novel is written).

Back to today’s episode — the new BGM, the slightly more hands-on fighting and a slower pace is a positive and refreshing change, not to mention how good-looking the new SH is! In terms of aesthetics aspects in character designs, PW really takes the cake.

P.S. The name SH uses on the assessment plate is “Huang” which means desolate/barren and that’s a direct allusion to where he comes from: the barren desert. Qin Changsheng is the head of Qin clan, both he and Qin Hao were previously ranked “almost” at the top until SH overtook them. SH’s little meditating figure is like scoffing them by sitting directly on top of their names.😝

I honestly do not know why they keep talking abt him losing the supreme bone, did it make him stronger yes, did it define him NO, he was already strong b4 he even regrow the bone, plus he did lay down its runes in his body and still has the supreme blood, I think wether or not he grows it back, he will remain a genius.

Agreed. Supreme bone or no, he’s supreme! Your statement:“.. did it define him NO..” is absolutely spot on. And that’s the belief he holds on firmly but it seems he did not manage to get this hammered into his lil’ brother as he sure seems proud of his double supreme bones.

But I guess no one expects him to defy heaven because
- innate supreme bone is extremely rare.
- no one could survive after losing a supreme bone (he really should’ve been dead when he was a baby after losing the bone).
- no one gives away their supreme bone just like SH (that’s why Qin Clan wants to shut everyone’s mouth, hoping that Qin Hao will be seen as a wunderkind). If I’m not mistaken, the “immortal bone” from Qin Changsheng was a remain from an immortal that he inherited by chance. As we later know, that bone has been passed on to Qin Hao.
- no one is that bold to carve their techniques/abilities onto their own bones and flesh like SH.

Humans. Some of us always see the negative side and when we have no base for a negative, we wallow in the loss of what was good and water down what’s even better.
